 About the BRINGERS OF DEATH

(aka the TEAM BOD FAQ)

  BOD came about when the Well of Souls Gaming Clan invited me and some others to participate with them in an online, Quake 2 battle called a Tourney.  My alias is AAAGGHHH!! (because I used to get fragged so much when I first started playing online, and still do)  We have much fun fragging away at each other playing the Quake 2 LOX MOD.  It's a really suped-up version of Quake 2!  There are many amazing new features and weapons in Q2 LOX. To say that the guys at Clan WOS have made the LOX MOD an intensely fun menagerie of madness would be an understatement.  This MOD is pretty much Quake 2 at it's most lethal.  You should try LOX if you haven't!

 

"BOD is simply a group that comes together in the name of spectacular Q2 fragging madness.  We play other games besides Quake, and welcome all no matter your official Clan association/s.  You can even be in another Clan and still join forces with Team BOD for an event only if you want!  We always need a backup to play seems.  We only ask to wear a BOD tag if you should join forces with us during an event!  e.g. [BOD]Player[xxx] or however you want to make it up!  Also, further BOD tag wearing is totally optional outside of any BOD events even for our regular members, as we just want to have fun getting a team together and playing another team, while allowing everybody else to do the same!  Frag on!

From the instant that we pop into a Quake II server, until the instant we pop back out, we are all essentially in the same category, unofficially called the Quake II Multiplayer Clan. hehe..  BOD does not really buy into all this "owning" crap either, at least not seriously.  Some players are better than others - how else could it be?  I don't even care about my fragcount half the time.  If it's a smaller map and there are lots of players, it's just insanity with the arsenal we have.

 

If you're new, have no fear!  We specialize in helping others and keep Team BOD going for the spirit of the game.
